What a day...

So I get up and go to the gym this morning (5th day in a row, woohoo lol). I get home and walk in to a soapy smell and then realize I can hear the washer running. I put a load of clothes in the washer before I left for the gym (1.5 hours ago). So I had one of those heart dropping moments where several bad words run through your head as I walk to the back of the house. Then my heart drops more when I notice the color differentiation in the carpet where the water has made its way into the 2 back rooms in my house. There was at least 0.5-1" of water standing in the two rooms. Yesterday the washer man came to fix it because it wasn't spinning the water out and either he didn't reattach the hose to the washer or he didn't do it well because water had been running out of there the whole time I was gone.

So of course I call dad and he came to fix it and suck up the water with a shop vac since I had to study seeing as I had a test at 1 today. So yeah he took out a good 12 gallons of water and that was after most of it ran out the back of the house under the siding. Fun times....

I still did fine on my test which is good and now I get to study for the weekend (except for a break to watch the Bama game) and through the next week for my test on Wednesday.
