A-Day

I'm on location...on Kim's couch. We're exhausted at 9:35 at night and sadly I probably could have gone to bed around 6:30 (when I got this old I don't know). Today was A-Day, the largest A-Day ever; the stadium was completely packed and they had to close the gates during the 2nd quarter. They were expecting 50,000 as an estimate I don't think the 93,000ish that showed up was planned on. I stayed with Kim last night, we went to dinner at Jalapenos with K-Co and had a ton of fun. I don't think I stopped laughing the entire dinner. Besides the fact our table was in the center of hell, because of the door opening and sun reflecting off cars it was a lot fun.

This morning Kim had class, which is just insane, and I was suppose to study. I did not study lol, oh well I'll get to that tomorrow. I parked down at the rec pool since there was also a triathlon this morning and most of the roads were closed; I decided I'd just walk to get my exercise for the day. We tried to watch two players from last year put their foot prints in the cement at Denny chimes but they decided to move the band in front of us so we couldn't see, oh well. We met up with K-Co and went to the stadium, it took us forever to find seats because the sabanation was in full attendance but K-Co did good and found us 3 seats. The game went well (yes I know it wasn't a real game but whatever). Saban probably came to a realization of how crazy we bama fans are when looking around to so the 93,000 there in full force doing the wave and all for a scrimmage.

There were many great quotes during the game involving balls, bastards, and skimpy dresses. We went to a guys apartment afterward for some amazing burgers and to just hang out. I played some DS and pokemon on the gameboy with two kids that for some reason were present at this gathering. Then for dessert Kim and I went Chick-fil-A for a shake, which was very good and my first from there. I'm sure much more happened this weekend, oh apparently my brake lights have stopped working so that's exciting. I guess that's all for now, roll tide, 133 more days till kick off! I'll put some pictures up from the game, the rest will be on facebook if you'd like to see.
