Okay so for the past, well a while, I've been thinking about joining the air force. I know, I know crazy but still I think it would be fun. I get that I might be stationed in Greenland or somewhere but I could also get stationed in Italy or Germany or Australia so we'll just see I guess. Anyway, the point it I have decided to do the air force thing, let them pay for my med school and I'll owe them 3 years after residency. It's only 3 years if I absolutely hate it and if I don't then eh maybe I can retire early.
Since I decided to join I had to go to make physical this morning. I told him I could go today but then he never called me back so I thought I wasn't going and was going to get to have valentine's day with Robert, BUT he called during my last class and off I went last night. I stayed in a hotel in Montgomery and got up at 4 this morning. I was on base by 5:10 and from there it was...well a physical. I got to have a medical exam, give blood, give a urine sample do some orthopedic and neurological exercises and weigh in. Thanks to good ol' slim fast I was 5 pounds under my max weight and for those keeping track (even if no one is I've lost almost 18 pounds since Jan 4 so yay for that).
The only problem I had today was the urine sample; I didn't want to drink a lot of water this morning and be over my weight and I though I would be okay anyway with the whole peeing thing. I was wrong it took me on my 3rd time (of being watched to give a sample) before I could fill half the stupid cup. Before the 3rd chance I drink from the water fountain for about 10 minutes straight, and then had to stop on the way home (almost twice) because I had to go so much.
So it was a busy 24 hours and now I have to clean and study because I have a quiz and test tomorrow and Jim and LeeAnn should be here tomorrow night. Oh Robert had some candy and a card for me yesterday (I think we're going to go out to eat tonight) and then dad got me a dozen roses and some cheesecake from Fresh Market (yummm).
I will post pictures for project 365 soon, sorry about that. I wish I had taken my camera with me last night to take a picture of the back sign at 5:04 am this morning and 21 degrees. Fun, fun.

How come I didn't know about the Air Force? Good Luck with the physical. Having people watch you pee is mondo bizzaro. I hate public health.
