Pelican float on last night's order of the polka dots parade. Last night I went to the parade with Alex, twas MUCH fun. We did really well for two short girls at the women's parade. We need to recruit a tall male or two for tonight and tomorrow, so we're going to work on that. We caught the parade 3 times (only half once) but still very good nonetheless.
The first time there was a group of drunk parents with their children that spread out on both sides of us...no good. You have to try and stay away from the kids, I don't like to take stuff from them (even though Alex had no issues with it).
The second go around a dropped a bag of kisses (didn't know what it was at the time) and when I went to get it off the ground a woman put her foot on them...if only I could eat them, I would have shown her a foot is not going to stop me. Alex stole and Ernie purse off the ground from someone (over the age of 16), and ended up giving it away to a woman that would not leave us alone while waiting for the parade to come around the 3rd time...it didn't work.
The 3rd time the people in front of us moved so I was able to straddle the barricade and catch stuff better or knock it down for Alex behind me (sorry about your eye Alex!). So we did well and had fun doing nothing medical school related all day.
I have a quiz in 2 hours that I haven't studied for at all..except for the 3-5 transcripts I typed for it, *sigh* I guess I should study.
Project 365 for yesterday and the day before, the Loot from Mardi Gras for yesterday and my daffodils starting to come up for Wednesday.

yeah, getting cups in the eye was def. not the best, but we did get the cups. it was waaay fun. i am glad we went. tonight/saturday should be fun too!! so any takers on the tall boy request?
No takers on the tall boys yet. Maybe 1 but you know how that is going. But yay, order of the incas tonight 6:30 we'll be there trying to avoid the children, or I could see if mine want to go...we'll see!!
